After spending three nights at Joglo Hati, we moved to Rumah Richard - and our stay there was another unforgettable and beautiful experience we’ve had in Bali 🤩 From the very first moment, the place felt incredibly special.

The houses are stunning, full of charm, and created with so much love and attention to detail. The location in Lodtunduh is simply breathtaking—peaceful, surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the rice fields and even the volcanoes, Mount Agung and Mount Batur in the distance. It’s the kind of place where you can truly slow down, breathe, and feel completely at peace.

A very special thank you to Liong, Yuda, and Dede ❤️ Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more meaningful. We felt welcome from start to finish and would return in a heartbeat 😍

Had a wonderful stay at Rumah Richard. The place is beautiful, very comfortable, and exactly the same as shown in the pictures. The host and team were extremely friendly and helpful, making the whole stay feel warm and welcoming.
Car access was easy and parking was available right in front of the villa, which was very convenient. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out.

Definitely would come back to this villa and highly recommend it to friends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Rumah Richard. The two cottages are beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by rice fields with a lovely atmosphere. It’s a little bit of a drive to Ubud, but absolutely worth it if you want to relax and experience Bali’s calm side.

Liong is a very kind and caring host who always makes sure everything is perfect. I’d be happy to stay here again!

We were so curious about the place – it looked so beautiful on Airbnb. In reality, it’s so much better – it’s magical and gives you good vibes from the very first moment. When you walk in, you see the pool in the middle with the bungalows on either side. And the view – rice fields on two sides and volcanoes in the back 🤩 The houses are nicely renovated yet still retain their character. Everything you need is here, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms spacious with rain showers. The host, Liong, is truly wonderful – so helpful, kind, and genuinely funny. The rest of the staff are just as lovely. There’s daily cleaning, and the place is spotless. You might experience an unforgettable sunrise – the sun rises behind the volcanoes, the light shifts beautifully, it’s indescribable. This was the most wonderful place we stayed during our time in Bali. Thank you so much for having us, and for your hospitality and kindness throughout our stay ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The view of the rice fields with the volcano in the background is truly spectacular. Thomas warmly welcomed us and was consistently responsive and exceptionally kind. Liong, our contact person, was always friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful. We highly recommend this place. We departed very early for our flight, and Dewa, our driver recommended by the host, was absolutely wonderful. You can plan everything with him during your stay for any activities you wish to do. All of you made our last days in Bali truly special.
The cabins themselves are really comfortable, and we had a great sleep. They are well-equipped with contact information to order food. We never had any issues, and everything was planned to ensure our comfort. It was one of our best stays. We are deeply grateful for all you did for us.

Having an entire home for yourself in such a beautiful and peaceful location feels like having the privilege to stay in the home of a Balinese god. The possibility to have food and drinks delivered from a nearby warung felt like luxury. The always smiling staff was kind and very helpful, and added to the feeling that just for a day we were the most important persons on the entire island. We will definitely recommend this location to our friends and family members!

Ubud was our first stop in Bali and Rumah Richard is the perfect place for it. Coming from the city, the serenity and peacefulness is overwhelming in a good way. Yuda helped us with the check-in and made sure we got everything we needed. The owner/host is so friendly and accomodating, he even arranged a car to pick us up from the airport. He also prepared a basket of fruits which is very thoughtful. The pool is our favorite. There's 2 floaties provided which we really enjoyed. You can get grab car and food deliveries at the Villa. Kitchen is fully equipped. The bedrooms are HUGE especially the BATHROOMS. We are a family of 4 with two kids. We enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this Villa.

This is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! Everything is as described and like the photos shown in the listing. We highly recommend it! The location was a bit further out of town than we thought, more like 20-25 minutes from more restaurants. But worth it to be amongst the rice fields and easy enough when hiring scooters. The host was extremely helpful with anything we needed including passing on the numbers of Dewak (Driver) and Liong (Manager). They were both lovely people and made our stay seamless with airport pickups and organising scooters for us for great prices! We hope to stay again one day!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rumah Richards. It's a beautiful villa with excellent surroundings of lush green rice fields. Well equipped. Little inside/off the main road though. Liong is an excellent host. Extremely proactive, very communicative and provides very good information about the stay as well as Bali on his own. He recommended to us the service of Dewak for tour/car rental and guide and we had a wonderful experience with him. Dewak is very sweet and knowledgable person who can help you plan all your local activities. Thank you Rumah Richard!

My friend and I really enjoyed the place, and the five days we spent here were lovely. The surroundings are beautiful, and at sunrise, the view becomes truly majestic. One thing to keep in mind: when walking around the area, some dogs may follow you — this is normal and expected. At night, you’ll hear the sounds of nature, like insects, so if you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping, bringing earplugs is a good idea. Lionge and Yuda were incredibly kind and helpful to us, and even gave us a gift before we left — such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you both! Lastly, we had a small issue with the AC, but it was resolved quickly, which we really appreciated.

The place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The caretakers were incredibly kind and accommodating. We had a lovely stay at Thomas's house. The house is very nice and spacious. The pool is exceptional. The only downside is the proximity to the road linked to the custom of honking all the time here, as well as the work right next door that shortened our nights a bit. The house is perfect if you want to be close and at the same time outside of Ubud.
The host and Liong are very nice and responsive. Thank you for everything :)

We just loved it. The two rooms were super clean, gorgeously built and decorated, everything has been thought into details, towels, soap, etc. Our 6yo has loved the swimming pool and I personally loved the kitchen, fully equipped and had filtered water available. The host was very helpful and everyone he has advised to contact has been the same. We highly recommend it!

Everything was way better than what was described in the airbnb list. The villa was beyond expectation, it's a paradise. Amazing communication, details, direction, reminder were spot on. Great place to stay! The room is tidy, very well equipped, and a comfortable stay. The location is not in the city so it is quiet, behind is the rice field, no cars coming and going. But it is also quite convenient to get around, and there are convenience stores and gas stations just a few hundred meters away. Liong was very kind and warm and helped us a lot, including motorbike rental and tips to get around, especially thank you!🙏

A wonderful secluded place to reboot! Two beautiful traditional houses are separated by a recreation area with a swimming pool. The kitchen is practical and clean, the rooms are well cleaned, every corner of the house and garden is created with love. Liong was very polite and caring, we rented a great moped from him. We thank Liong, as well as the cute cats and super dog Lola for their hospitality.

The owner gave us all the information we needed before arrival. When arrived there, we were greeted by Liong and Lola (Lola is the owner’s dog). Liong is very kind and don’t worry about Lola, if you’re not a dog person, Lola won’t enter the villa. But be careful, Lola is a friendly dog so she could follow you when you walk around. Just make sure to not let her to follow you until the main road. The villa itself is 100% as described. Not too far from center but near all the places that we love to visit. A little noisy from the room Number 1 as the room is on the road side (it’s not the main road, just small road). The pool is perfect when it’s hot, well everyday is hot in Bali. Near the villa, there is Indomaret, a minimarket. Then for eating, when we were too lazy to go outside, we used Gojek app (Gofood) which is like Ubereats in Europe. The kitchen is well equipped. There are 3 or 4 different coffee machines, microwave, toaster, equipment for cooking, water dispenser etc.

Thank you very much! Everything was very well organized, all people extremely friendly and helpful. The host was thinking for us, also because we traveled with 2 boys, 3 and 5 years old. For us the perfect accommodation to have a relaxing private time after the long flight as a family and still be close to many activities and restaurants. We had 3 great nights at Liong's place. There were two of us there and everyone had their own house - a luxury. The pool is nice and in the evening with the lighting the garden looks fantastic. We were able to sit outside for a long time, as there were almost no mosquitos. The geckos in the house have often lost their leftovers, but because of the mosquito net, the bed was safe terrain ;) The bed is incredibly comfortable, I will miss that the most!

Welcoming, picturesque, it smells of wood and nature. Speaking of nature, you're there! Amid fields and rice fields, quiet, finally, if you like the uninterrupted singing of cicadas, this small clean cottage is decorated with a very pleasant swimming pool, creating a warm, natural and cozy atmosphere. All comfort. Very close to shops and a scooter range (15 minutes max from Ubud). Saupoud all the discreet and very friendly neighbors and you have your Ubud villa for your holiday! I already miss it! What a great stay. We stayed here with a different couple and each couple had their own cottage. The place was delicious. Bed was wonderful. And everything was actually great. I had asked in advance if they could help with scooters and these were ready when we arrived at the property. Can we just live here? I stayed in Bali for 60 days and this place stood out above the rest. From the beginning Thomas and Liong were so helpful, but also treated us like family- so kind, communicative, and made us feel at home. They also helped coordinate our bike rental! Our stay at Rumah Richard was 2 weeks, and it wasn't nearly enough. Although it's about 20 mins out of central Ubud, it ended up being so much better because we didn't have to deal with daily traffic but the drive was quick and easy up one main road the whole way. Also less than 10 mins from the Zoo, waterfalls and so many other awesome restaurants/views we experienced. There's a great warung (Redeg) right across the rice field and on the main st the best coffee at Dia, and an ATM right across too. We loved waking up to the view of the volcano and palm trees, walking along the rice fields. It was a DREAM. If there's one thing I'm sure, is that when I come back to Bali I'll be staying here again.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rumah Richard and we did not want to leave! This beautiful Airbnb consists of two well designed Indonesian cabins that are positioned to have the most stunning views of the rice fields. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning beauty of the property, which featured large balconies, an inviting pool, a simple but spacious kitchen and a garden area. What really made this Airbnb stand out was the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Liong went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We had an amazing stay at Rumah Elfi. The stay was very peaceful and beautiful with great amenities like the pool. The place is more beautiful than the photos show, and the comfort of the outskirts of Ubud in the rain is indescribable. The location is very quiet, only occasionally there is the sound of vehicles, the streets outside the house are also very beautiful, the flowers are in full bloom, very suitable for walking. Location - 20 minutes by taxi to Ubud center. The very beautiful village of Ludtung is among rice fields, where there are many temples and family ritual buildings. There are restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Through Liong, you can order food delivery from the restaurant according to the proposed menu. Wi-Fi works. Liong and Yuda and Dede are very nice, responsible. They satisfied all our desires, which were many.

Liong is still here, and that’s the most important thing, as he’s truly an exceptional host – always friendly, you never see him without a smile on his face. The team has grown too, and we met Dede and Yuda. They now include breakfast as well – a big thank you to Yuda, it was absolutely delicious. Rumah Elfi is truly one of a kind. Nestled next to the rice fields in the village of Lodtunduh, it gives you a sense of peace and calm the moment you walk in. The place is so beautiful – even nicer now than last time. Liong has made some lovely improvements, such as tiling the bathroom floors, adding bean bags to the living area, and enhancing the garden. Everything else is exactly as described on Airbnb. We enjoyed our time here so much.

Oh, what a beautiful place this is! It looks exactly like the pictures, but in real life it’s even better – full of atmosphere and character. We felt welcome from the very first moment. Liong is a wonderful host; whenever we needed anything, he was always there for us. The rest of the staff are just as lovely – truly the sweetest.
The pool is large, and the garden is simply enchanting. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms spacious, and everything was spotless.
We had two wonderful days here, and even after such a short stay, it was so hard to leave. You can’t go wrong with this villa – it was without a doubt the most fulfilling stay and the best Airbnb of our whole trip through Bali. We’re so glad we spent our last days here before heading home. We have just finished 3 days in Rumah Elfi and it was amazing. They let us check in early and also have a late check out due to our flight being in the late afternoon. The place itself is really nice and feels like home. The rooms are in pristine condition and even come with Netflix in each room. The pool is the perfect size and even came with lilos, the kitchen was fully equipped even had its own water dispenser. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in Ubud!!

This was our first airbnb in Bali upon our arrival and we stayed 4 nights here. By the end of our stay, we didn't want to leave. What an amazing host - very communicative and fast responses. We felt like friends by the end. He was able to help us get setup with Dewak for an airport transfer and a couple of days of adventuring. He was also able to help us a last minute request for in-house massages and mani/pedis the night we arrived after a 27hr travel day. The home itself is absolutely beautiful and captures the magic of Bali. Liong was there to greet us and show us the place and was there at the end to help us with our luggage. The added bonus was being able to spend some time with their animals - Lola and Niko and Susi (we missed Nelly!). Niko, their dog, has to be the ultimate host with the most! He literally escorted us to the delightful café recommendation by Liong across the rice fields and showed us the way. My friends and I had a great stay and would definitely return!

Rumah Elfi was a beautiful retreat for us as a family. We stayed here for 10 days together with my sister and her partner and enjoyed the most wonderful holiday where our kids spent most of the time in the pool (which was far bigger than expected) and us adults reading, playing board games, sipping drinks at the pool, playing in the pool with the kids, going for walks and so much more.
From the minute we got to Bali we were taken care of starting with Dewak who picked us up from the airport and safely brought us to the accommodation where we were welcomed by Liong and his wonderful team. Everyone was so kind, helpful, respectful and always there when we needed them.
We all agree that we are extremely lucky to have been able to enjoy such a beautiful heartwarming holiday at Rumah Elfi. Saying goodbye to this place and the people was very hard and brought some tears too.

We stayed (Family of 5) for the month of January, and it was spectacular. The space is amazing, wooden Joglo style with open dining/kitchen areas. The location was great (flat rice fields) and Ubud-downtown is within 20 minutes. Liong and Yuda take care of the place, and they were highlights of the trip. They are so friendly and attentive, but will also work behind the scenes as we had many days off from sightseeing and wanted the privacy of the villa. They did maintenance when we were out on excursions. Kids absolutely loved the visits from the friendly dogs and cats that live nearby, but you could also keep your door closed if that's not your thing. Thomas was really friendly and flexible with check-in and his other properties are beautiful and well taken care of as well. We had a wonderful family stay at this property! The place is very private, surrounded by beautiful padi fields, and is easily accessible by both motorcycle and car. It looks exactly like the photos—traditional, charming, and full of character. We especially enjoyed spending time together swimming, playing in the water, and just relaxing. The host provided detailed instructions for reaching the property, which made getting there very easy. A friendly black cat even greeted us on arrival, adding to the warm and welcoming vibe. The host was very considerate, providing a guidebook with helpful tips on what to do and not to do during our stay. We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Mint. The villa and gardens are beautiful, a true oasis. Indra has thought of everything to make the stay easy and comfortable.
One of my favourite touches was the water dispenser, with cold; room temp; and hot options, so convenient! The air conditioning in the bedrooms was also excellent.
The location couldn’t have been better. While the villa is tucked away at the end of a quiet lane (which yes, can be a little dark at times but we just used our phone torches), we always felt safe.
The lane opens onto a lively street filled with shops, restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies and massage and beauty parlours, all within a short walk. The beach is also only about a 10 minute walk away, past even more shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
Indra was helpful in connecting us with a fantastic driver service for day trips. Nicky and his brother Adi were a pleasure to spend time with, so kind and friendly. We miss them already!

Indra was the best host; our other accomodation fell through we had no where to go, I booked with Indra and he confirmed within minutes allowed us to check in straight away! The villa was in perfect condition! The staff were so helpful! Indra was so understanding, helpful, friendly and the best host we have had so far! The Villa was beautiful, one of the best I’ve stayed in close to everything in walking distance for the beach nice restaurants near by and shops. The place was acceptable, but overall the experience did not meet expectations. Access to the property is somewhat difficult due to the one-way road, although check-in was easy and clear. The villa itself is calm, and the host was kind, responsive, and helpful.
However, there were several issues that affected the stay. Although I understand it is a tropical area, the living room is open and very uncomfortable due to a large number of mosquitoes. The kitchen is basic and nothing special.
The bedrooms are spacious, but the pillows were not clean (only the pillowcases were clean). In addition, there was noticeable noise in Room A, which affected comfort and sleep quality.
Additionally, the cleaning staff only clean the villa and its furniture, but they do not clean leftover food, empty juice boxes, or water bottles left on the table they are left as is.
Overall, the stay was below expectations, and significant improvements are needed.

We had the most incredible stay at Villa Mint! The listing was exactly as described (though slightly difficult to find/navigate to with our drivers) and the villa really did exceed our expectations for a girls trip. Although we were in the center of Seminyak, the villa is set far back off the main road so it was very peaceful and quiet throughout the night. The location really was perfect for a first-time trip to Bali - we were in the middle of all the action and walking distance to everything, and a great central location to everything we traveled to (~40 mins by car to Canggu and Uluwatu). Indra was extremely helpful ahead of our trip answering all of our questions, was there to greet us and give us a tour as we checked in, and was very friendly and responsive. The cleaners that came every day were amazing and it was so nice having our space tidied up every day. Will absolutely be returning to Villa Mint the next time I am in Bali!

The villa staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. When we struggled to get a Grab (it couldn't locate the villa—only Gojek worked), they stayed with us until 10 PM to ensure we got our ride, even translating with the driver who couldn’t find the location. Their support was outstanding! However, the location proved challenging. Being deep in an alley made transport tricky, and Room A had serious noise problems. We could clearly hear conversations and laughter from guests at neighboring Villa Mila, even without music. This woke us up at 5 AM one morning. Note: Rooms B and C didn’t have this issue. If you stay here, avoid Room A if you value quiet. The staff’s warmth is a major plus, but light sleepers should be cautious.

It was my favorite homestay on my trip to Bali. It's a beautiful villa hidden in the lively Seminyak. You have to walk a little while to reach it but the serenity and beauty of the villa worth that. I am very familiar with eat street area and wanted to try an area that I didn't know that well but had been to before. Villa Mint is near to Double Six beach (12-15 min walk) and a variety of food options (don't compare to eat street) like Craved, Made Warung and Dusty cafe. La Plancha and Cacoon is nearby too. Indra is a super responsive host answering and acknowledging my queries and feedback of the villa. I did not realise that there is actually 2 "sides" of the villa. 1 side has 2 rooms and the other is kitchen,dining, living area and the biggest room. There is no connected walkway so if it rains u need umbrellas (5 are provided). This place is private, good use of space as most villas are huge but empty. All rooms have ensuite. Initially couldn't find the small lane but easy once spotted. Indra provided pics as well. Thanks 😊 daily cleaning is part of the price and I only requested it once during my 4 night stay. Dispenser water ran out and within the hour, it was replaced.

This was our second visit to Villa Mint, we did a repeat because of the good memory of the previous stay. The location is certainly very close and walking distance to various places of interest around Kuta & Seminyak. Certainly also close to the nearby supermarket and restaurant stars around it so it is very convenient. the pool is also well-maintained and the entire bathroom has good water pressure in all the showers so the experience of bathing after getting tired of sweating around Seminyak becomes a pleasant and very refreshing experience.

It was your own private little slice of heaven but at the same time so conveniently located & close to everything you need! Being located close to the Bintang Supermarket was an added bonus for us as we enjoy still cooking some meals and stocking up on snacks whilst on holidays. The villa was always clean & the Villa Mint Staff make sure the villa is nice and clean throughout your stay. We were very lucky with this property, the host and the staff! The villa is in a very quiet location despite being one of the most vibrant areas of Bali. Everything fully corresponds to the photos in the profile. The pool is clean and cleaned at least twice in 2 weeks. There is everything you need around, a Bintang supermarket within a 10-minute walk, the beach is a 15-minute walk, restaurants and bars for every taste. The host deserves special attention: a very professional and polite guy, any questions/problems are resolved instantly. The staff comes every day, they do their work perfectly! We definitely recommend this villa! 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay at Indra’s villa. It felt like home, with a perfect layout and cozy corners to enjoy family time. The host’s beautiful gardening and warm lighting created a relaxing vibe, different during the day and night. Indra was very responsive, quickly addressing any feedback and even offering compensation when needed. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for cooking meals, chilling at the bar top. We loved the cozy living room with wood rattan furniture, best for bonding time. The Bali-inspired garden added to the peaceful retreat feel. Villa Mint was gorgeous and ideal for our family. The kids and us had our own spacious rooms and bathrooms that were serviced by wonderful staff everyday. The pool was lovely and inviting. This is the most horrible stay experience I ever had. First day - the swimming pool had a lot of coconut oil floating on top. Wasn’t cleaned even after multiple requests. We stayed for 3 days, whole 3 days we never were able to use the pool. Major thing was the last night of our stay, we came to the villa (11 PM) only to notice the electricity was completely down. Nothing was working, completely dark, no water to drink, no water in bathroom, we had a flight in the coming morning, we were not able to sleep in the villa, with tons of mosquitoes and lack of ventilation. We called Indra at least 40 to 50 times, he never picked up the call then too. So we had to pack in the dark as none of our phones had charge (it was hell) and leave the villa in the middle of the night (1:30AM) and sleep in the floor of the airport as checkin was not open for us. Words can’t describe such a hell experience. He told he will provide a refund for villa, who will refund my time and travel costs. Horrible.

Our stay at Indra's villa was shocking. Relaxation turned into a nightmare due to theft and the owner's response.
1.MONEY STOLEN: Cash totaling over 4M IDR was stolen despite precautions. Disregard for security is unacceptable.
2.VICTIM BLAMING: Owner blamed us for not using safety box, suggesting knowledge of issues.
3.WELL-PLANNED THEFT: Occurred day before departure, leaving no time to report.
4.FALSE ACCUSATIONS: To avoid responsibility, the owner frame us for spilling noodle soup on the sofa. The evidence, a still-dripping sofa, was clearly staged. This was a desperate attempt to shift blame.
5.SUSPECTED REPEAT OFFENSES: Unacceptable behavior suggests this isn't the first incident.
Avoid this villa. Lack of security, victim blaming, and false accusations make it unsafe. Choose another accommodation for a safe Bali vacation.

It's hard to believe what people are capable of writing without any proof to support their accusations. We take great pride in what we do—hosting guests from all over the world and providing a first-class villa. We trust our staff completely, and we need to address several inaccuracies in your review.
Firstly, we never accused you of anything. In fact, it was you who suggested that Balinese people are not honest and accused our staff of stealing your money.
1. Alleged Theft of 4 Million IDR (Approx. $260 USD)
You contacted us at 10:30 PM, claiming money was missing from wallets in three different bedrooms and demanded that all staff be present immediately. We explained that it was not feasible to conduct such a meeting in the middle of the night and suggested resolving the matter the next day. Unfortunately, this was not a solution you were willing to accept.
2. "Victim Blaming"
Asking why you didn’t use the provided safe is not victim blaming. It was a necessary question to understand the situation. Using safety boxes is a standard practice worldwide in hotels and villas for securing valuables; it appears you chose not to use them.
3. Alleged Theft on Your Last Day
You claim this theft occurred on your last day while you were on a day trip. My question is, did none of you take a wallet or purse on this trip?
4. False Accusations and Damage
After you left, we discovered an extremely oily pool with an empty bottle of coconut oil on the premises. You claimed it must have accidentally fallen into the pool or that a cat was responsible. We also found noodle soup spilled on the living room sofa and a pool towel used as a rag. These incidents coinciding with your last evening at the villa seem quite unusual, especially given our reputation for maintaining the villa in perfect condition for our guests. We had to change the pool water entirely, and the noodle stains required changing the sofa covers.
5. Unfounded Allegations
We have never had any issues with our staff or reports of theft. Our other reviews reflect this. This is the first time we’ve been accused of something like this.

Your call in the middle of the night seemed like an attempt to pressure us into providing a refund immediately by causing a scene. However, we insisted on following proper procedures to investigate the situation. It’s disheartening that you felt the need to damage property and leave a false review when you didn't get what you wanted. We have encountered many wonderful guests during our time as hosts, and almost everyone has enjoyed a memorable holiday with us. Unfortunately, there are rare instances where things do not go as smoothly. Your case is a regrettable example of this. On that note, We gave refund for the next guest because they couldnt use the pool ( full of coconut oil)

We stayed at Villa Mint for nearly a week in August, it was bliss. The villa was located down an alley from the main road and this made it so quiet and private, compared to the busy life on the road. The entire villa exceeded our expectations, with super comfy beds, great aircon and clean bathrooms. The pool was well maintained and delightful to swim in. The kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed cooking a few meals in it too. The staff were all wonderful and so kind to our 3-year old. It’s a 15 min walk along a main shopping street to the beach and only 5 min to a great supermarket. A nice oasis in Seminyak.

We guess that this accommodation is not your "style” and we understand - but you can’t say that the picture looks different than the real place. You left out villa with so much left over food all over the floor and the sofa and the bathroom was very dirty, but we didn’t mention on your review because I respect you. We hope that you find better place and your expectation and of course respect to other hosts.

We experienced so many problems with this villa that I’ll never come back again even if it’s free. Holidays are meant to be enjoyed, not under lots of stress. Day 2 one of the bedroom aircons spoilt. I spent like 30mins following instructions of the host Indra. Switching on/off the circuit power supply and was lightly electrocuted. Day 3 aircon still down. Day 4 as I was bathing halfway with shampoo, the power for entire villa went down. Water pressure disappeared and I was stuck with no water. Problem was finally resolved after 5pm. We had kids and it was stressful not being sure the whole day whether we will have electricity back as we had 4 more nights here. Day 5 the same aircon spoilt again. Technician came and said my helper used the remote wrongly. Me and my wife were away so couldn’t verify. Day 7 at night we realized the aircon was spoilt again. It had lights but no air came out. I had more whatapp conversations with the host Indra than I have with my best friend.

You forgot to mention the night before Bali day Silence ( Nyepi), the AC was not working and we did call few technicians to come but it was impossible to come because all the road are blocked during (Ogoh-ogoh) Balinese Parade night before Nyepi. So we suggest that you can sleep in other room till the Silence day over and we promised that our technician come and fix the Ac problem. And after silence day , there was a power outage around the villa and it took quite a long time to overcome, finally it was on at 5 o'clock then We immediately fix the AC , and it works for 2 nights then suddenly the AC is not working again because one of our staff press the wrong button, then it work again for the day then the next day the Ac was not working again. Then our technician came and change one of the component and change new one and it’s still not working. So we offering you Full Refund and Free transport for our apologies , But Instead you refuse and told me that we ruined your holiday and we know that Holiday suppose to be Fun. We did apologize and gave you full refund but you refuse. although we did our best to give solution and we did try our best to make our guest happy to stay. There were a lot of mosquitoes. I think it was inevitable because it was an open living room and kitchen. There was dog poop in the alley that comes into the accommodation.... I stayed here for the first two days in Bali, the yard is so beautiful, the greening of the yard, the decoration of the room is very southeast Asian, I really like it, the host service is very attentive, and I regret not staying more than a few nights. The only thing missing is that the bathing water in the bathroom is not very hot. It is cooler at night during the rainy season. It will be a little cold to take a shower, and everything else is great.

Beautiful villa, wish we could have stayed longer. We picked it for its Bali vibes in the photos and it absolutely delivered. So serene, beautiful greenery everywhere, lovely spacious rooms accented with locally made goods and such a treat to have your own private refreshing pool. Indra’s place is peacefully tucked away but walking distance to shops, restaurants and even a supermarket and the beach. My family and I really enjoyed our stay :)

Great property manager. Fantastically well maintained and detailed villa garden. Clean. Quiet. I wish it was 50 meters closer to the main road or had a back exit towards the beach. Was glad once we used grab to collect cars at the end of the “gang”… unbelievable value. Best value of any place in Bali we stayed

Before arriving, Indra gave us detailed information about the location of the accommodation, etc. Indra was waiting for us at the house and was kind enough to accommodate us. The place is more beautiful than what you see in the pictures. Our daily cleaning team will keep you as clean as your first day. The beds are comfortable and luxurious like a 5 star hoop. The pool is well maintained, and our family enjoyed swimming every morning. It is well located for daily surfing by the sea, and there are many restaurants nearby that you can use comfortably. Thank you Indra for your attentive consideration. I would recommend Villa Mint to friends who want to come to Bali.

Villa Mint was absolutely stunning!! The place looks exactly like the pictures. Our family of 6 really loved just relaxing and spending most of our time there. Nothing like swimming in the morning and then cooking some indomie goreng for lunch! We also really love how it's located at the heart of Seminyak and how it is super walkable to all the amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. The beach is also only a 15 mins walk away. Highly recommend and would come back again!

We enjoyed our stay at a Indra’s villa. Perfect size for 3 couples. Indra was very responsive to our questions and helpful in recommending massage places and restaurants. Indra organized airport pickup which was great. The villa is close to all you need in walking distance. There were a few little things I’ve passed on to Indra that would have made the stay even better. We’d happily stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. It is a quiet place and close to everything, the market, restaurants and the beach. Very perfect villa and the most important thing is that the place is safe. The host was very interested in us and took good care of us. We forgot something and called him and he responded immediately - we always find him if we reach out to him. As for the bedrooms, they were good. Overall we were happy and enjoyed our stay in the villa. We highly recommended this place and will comeback and deal with the host directly.

It was exactly as it was in the photo. When I opened the door and entered, I felt so good because it was full of the balisness I wanted and imagined it. Interior, gardens, everything is in Bali. The pool was also nice, so I used it every day. I liked that there were many restaurants and spas around the vicinity, and the fact that the empty market is right next door in particular is a really great advantage. Grab is also well caught. I spent 5 days like my own home. If you want Balisness and convenience, it's right here, so don't worry about it.

Indra is a wonderful and very attentive host! He truly cares and goes out of his way to make you feel at home and to make sure everything is ok. The location is good, off of the main road, so very peaceful in the evening, and the property itself is just stunning! I really didn’t want to leave. I had an issue with a leak one evening, due to heavy rain. Indra had his team out to fix it right away and also refunded me one night for the inconvenience. If you are considering staying here, this is your sign to go ahead and do it! Great place, great host and great experience!

Our family of four (including two little kids) were looking for somewhere quiet but central to call our own for a week in Bali. Villa Mint did not disappoint. Literally everything was perfect from Indra’s communication, organisation, check ins and recommendations. The rooms are bigger, nicer than the pictures show and the location is really central and yet, still quiet. We can’t fault our stay in any way, so much that we think we will be back again next year. From the moment we opened the gate, we were stunned at Indra's place. It is a heavenly, peaceful oasis set down a pathway off the main road in central Seminyak, so while it's central to shops, restaurants, and the beach, it's so quiet and peaceful! Indra is a very kind host and his staff are lovely too. They helped us with finding the place and checking in with lovely smiles. The communication was top notch and the service was very responsive. The villa was kept immaculate! The beds were amazingly comfy and the rooms very tastefully decorated. The whole villa is like a work of art, and you can tell Indra has real talent for design. Honestly, we wish were could have stayed for longer! Everything was absolutely 10/10.

Our stay in Villa Mint was amazing, we had an incredible time at the pool and it was so fun staying in such a beautiful place. The kitchen is also super well equipped and we had fun cooking a bunch of meals there and chilling in all the different lounge areas available near the pool or in the living room! Our host Indra was super amazing too, and helped us alot since day 1 with getting to the villa to showing up right away when I accidentally messed up the safe 😅 Also had great recommendations for places to go which we really enjoyed, and was super responsive! The street to get to the house can feel kind of scary late at night since it’s pretty dark but thats not up to the host, and it’s all good with a phone flashlight :) I would definetly highly recommend staying here and we really hope to come back in the future

Villa mint was such a beautiful villa to stay in! Thanks to Indra for being a great host - he was very responsive, helpful and accommodating with our check in requirements (we had requested an earlier check in if available and due to no-one checking out the day we arrived, he was more than happy to help arrange this). The villa itself is fantastic with 3 spacious rooms and their own ensuites. Everything was extremely clean and even the towels/ linen smelt so nice! Great. Our favourite part of the villa was the pool as it was so peaceful having at the end of some busy days. Jl Arjuna (Double Six) is a 2 minute walk from the villa and there are plenty of shops and dining options on this street. The beach was a 10 minute walk and we enjoyed Grain for coffee/ breakfast a couple of times (which is a 2-3 minute walk down the road). We loved our stay and had a great time.

Perfect place to stay in Kuta! Ideal location. 1 minute walk to plenty of shopping and restaurants, but the villa itself is so peaceful. We loved the decor and the layout. It looks professionally decorated but it’s Indra who’s done everything. He’s a fantastic host; very responsive and accommodating for us to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out, and such a nice person to chat with. Highly recommend staying here! And for coffee and breakfast we loved Gujji Coffee - small place but excellent- 7 minute walk away.

This villa was absolutely beautiful, more beautiful than the photos can show you. Beautiful garden and pool area. Very clean rooms. All 3 bedrooms had private ensuites and were seperate from each other which was lovely. Daily housekeeping. Indra and staff were able to set up birthdays decorations to surprise my family and even sung happy birthday to him and brought a piece of cake. Villa is a few minute walk down a small lane way but as soon as you pop out from the lane you’re on the Main Street with shopping and restaurants with Bintang supermarket only a few minute walk down the road. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Indra was a great host- very responsive, checked in frequently to make sure our stay was going well, helped arrange transport from the airport and met our group at the villa upon arrival and departure. Villa Mint is absolutely beautiful, exactly as the pictures show and honestly even better in person. There are 3 very well designed and decorated rooms, and he has staff come by and clean everyday. The pool was perfect temp to cool down and had an outdoor shower. Location is excellent!! It was about a 10-15min walk to the beach on a street lined with stores and coffee shops. The villa is tucked at the end of a private road which allows for a quieter home atmosphere (at night, the road does get a bit dark, but we had no problem pulling out our cellphone for light). It’s about a 2min walk to the busy main road which has a variety of restaurants, shops, and a local grocery store. A great place to stay in Seminyak.
